Hello all,

I picked up Arcanum on GOG's sale on Saturday Sept 21, installed it, and played for an hour or two. Everything was wonderful. Today, Sunday Sept 22, every time I try to launch the game it refuses to work. It just dumps me back to the desktop. When I try to click or tab back to the game, the screen flickers black and it dumps me right back to the desktop.

I've tried the -window, -no3d, and -doublebuffer commands in the shortcut Properties. I haven't installed any mods. I've reinstalled the game twice (including removing the save files) to no avail. I've tried running as Administrator. I've tried Troubleshooting Compatability.

My System:
Windows 8 64 bit
6 GB RAM
Dual Nvidia Geforce GT 650M

Any help would be appreciated, 'cause I was really looking forward to playing this game. :)

Ok, I've gotten it working again by closing out Adobe's Creative Cloud and toggling the Run as Administrator checkbox. I can't believe that worked. Anyway, I guess this is solved unless it stops working again.
