I have gotten the highres texture pack from the sticky'd thread but when I input my widescreen settings it just gives me a set of large black bars on the side of the screen.

I have installed all the items from the sticky'd thread

UAP
HQ townmaps
highres texture pack.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure you did not input height where you were supposed to input width? Also if I'm not mistaken, the resolution setting do not affect title menu. You can only see the effect of resolution change in-game. And in case you are using Vista or Windows 7 and have installed game in program files (default location), then uninstall and reinstall the game somewhere else (anywhere outside program files will do ie. c:\games).

Petrell, that makes a lot of sense, as that's how it is for me. On the title screen there are the black bars either side, but when the game starts, the screen is full.

Thanks. I didn't check ingame but only checked the title menu when I installed it. Now that I have actually checked the game proper it works as intended.
