I have always thought the main problem of Arcanum were the combat. In turn by turn, any enemy could close the distance between you and wherever in one, or at the very worst two turns, making the combat very little tactical and ranged weapons only better due to the damage they cause.
Do you know any mod which adds some realism to combat (not just a gun mod or whatever, but something that overhauls the whole stuff ?)
Thank you.
No. But, if you have party members, you can order them to move into a zone or attack a target with the mouse pointer and the F keys. Try that. I send in Sodd first to take the damage and then I can sit back and watch or throw nades.
It only takes a char point to get spike traps . Generally I have no trouble in turn based so long as I step away, plant a trap, and take a shot. And traps always hit.
My half elf rogue backstabber lived and (hardly) died by turn based combat. Wait'll they get close enough then trigger combat, cast stun, walk around behind and cut them to ribbons.
