When in 3dfx mode, everything works perfectly except the timing within the simulation engine. The best I can explain it is that there are two timings that shift back and forth each second. Fast to slow, fast to slow. If I hold down the accelerate key, I go forward fast, then slow, fast, then slow. If I turn using keyboard or joystick, I turn fast, slow, fast, slow. Framerate, however, stays silky--this isn't a performance problem. nglide and other wrappers perform fine for me elsewhere, and when I launch the game using the non-3dfx executables, the game behaves properly.

The game works perfectly on my HD 5850, but I'm having this issue with a GTX 970 :/

Has anyone experienced this? Has anyone corrected it?

Yes, and it is described in the Archimedean Dynasty forum (it is a separate forum to the AquaNox Series forum).
Try turning off vsync in the nglide Configuration utility before you launch the game.
Thanks, that did it! I thought I'd tried that earlier but evidently not. Didn't realize Archimedean Dynasty had its own forum now.
