...about update for customers that bought game via GOG.COM. I encourage you to do the same, not bringing update here or delaying it for ages is unacceptable practice (*especially* when update bring big, new features, like multiplayer).

I've got reply from Alientrap support:
"Hey!
The multiplayer update to Steam was just to test the multiplayer functionality, it's in beta.
We are still working on a version of the multiplayer that will be free to all customers
thanks,"
So, it seems that everything is going to be OK'ish :)
