The game doesn't seem to support either of my controllers. That's fine, if unfortunate. I was just wondering, if anyone knows which gamepads are actually supported by the game, and if there are workarounds for other controllers?

AFAIK you need Xinput gamepad. You can try using x360ce - https://code.google.com/p/x360ce/

From what I heard the gamepad controls are very complicated, especially in tight situations. I play using mouse+keyboard and it works quite well.

The controls look to be similar to the game Abuse where the mouse controls where the character attacks at and the directionals control your movement. Can you confirm this?

Very complicated? I don't think so, I think it plays very well with a controller.
