I get a prompt to use WinRaR on some files, but when I try to unpack them, the utility tells me that they are corrupt, the install finishes and then it simply will not load.

When did you download the game installer?

You shouldn't have any prompts to use WinRAR at all... :o

I'll re-download the installer, as there was an indication there might be an updated version today,
to see if there is any problems with the installer, for Windows.

Edit... The update was apparently the Linux and Mac installers being added.
Installer works fine.

Installer works fine.
I downloaded it a few times tonight and still gives me the same error at least on my Win 8 machine.

I'm not sure why you would be getting any WinRAR prompt at all... are you sure you're downloading the Windows version and not the Linux one by accident? The file you get should just be an exe.

Please run a file called setup_apotheon_2.0.0.1.exe. I am not even sure why you are getting WinRAR prompts on the game in the first place.

Am I getting them while it is installing. If I ignore it then it says the install is finished but when I try to run the game it simply fails to run.

I included several screenshots on my email. Hopefully that will sort things out. I really like what I seen of this game and wish I can play it, and maybe a do a Let's Play as well.
