Just saying.
GOG package also includes windows 95 version files. I guess GOG version is 2.0 which is for both OSs, Dos and Win95. The first version was Dos only for PC.
Copy files in Data/Files folder except Dsetup*** files, then get them into the main game folder, overwrite, and run apache95.exe. If having some luck and any version of Apache CD(or CD image), it would probably run.
The game speed will be twice fast even on not that fast hardware. For slowing speed, utils like Dgvoodoo2 or DXGL could be used for vsync on as 60Hz.
Also GOG Hind might work as the above way with compatibility mode as win98/95 and 16bit colors or so.
