I left some of the items needed to craft the coffer in a box next to the tree in the quagmire. Because I didnt play for ages and forgot those items were important.

I used the firey steed to fly to the Evil Stronghold, explored loads of that, went across to the fire mountain, did all that. Spoke to the Black Gnarl and realised id goofed.

I assumed you could fire steed back from just before the entrance to Evil Strongholdr but the whistle does nothing. If I cant get back to the Quagmire I cant complete the game.

Is there a workaround? (other than restoring a very old save game and doing ALL that again)
