I'll probably pick this classic up soon, but I suppose I'll have to play with a keyboard. It was fine on a joystick on my trusty Amiga back in the day, but has anyone played with keyboard yet? How did you find it?

The game card system requirements indicate a mouse and keyboard are required.
This review also states at the bottom of the left sidebar that a keyboard/mouse/joystick was supported in the retail version.
Haven't got this yet but its a pretty good bet that you will use the mouse/keyboard and if it supported a joystick in retail it will probably still support one. . . =)

I can add that long ago I played this in DOS and used keyboard controls and found them to be quite usable. If I remember correctly, there is really only one button, other than the arrow keys, which is context-sensitive in its function.
