I'm thinking to buy 15th Anniversary Edition for my Mac. I saw that its complatible only with Windows platform but we have dosbox on mac so i thought that its possible to run it. Do you know anything about this game can be runned by mac dosbox?

I'm sorry but I think it won't be possible.

The original game has been updated with better looking backgrounds and If I remember correctly, the updated version (the version sold by GoG) ony runs on Windows (no dosbox).

That is correct, the version sold here is an updated version that runs in Windows, not DOS. However, you may be able to run it in Wine or Crossfire.

I was able to run it perfectly using CrossOver.

If you want a free alternative, I just bought the game for the sole purpose of testing it with wine 1.22 and winewrapper. Worked perfectly on my 13-inch macbook pro, with the resolution being 1280*778 in windowed mode, so it's almost as good as fullscreen! You can see the normal OS X menu bar on top. No graphical glitches or any other such nonsense so far! Hope this helps
