I loved this title as a kid (I knew it as "Out of this World"), but the older I get the more I realize this was just a precursor to cutscene's masquerading as gameplay. Especially when put against the far more satisfying spiritual followups "Flashback" and "Heart of Darkness" (the latter by the original creator of Another World).
This game isn't a bad game by any stretch of the imagination, but it was a building block for what would become much better iterations. I would say Flashback is a 4 star game and Heart of Darkness is a 5 star title.
Compared to those games this is a conceptually weighted tech demo. Cool, but lacking.
