I am a BIG fan of Anno 1602. I have the disc but I would still consider buying this depending on what is included.

- I have heard that the expansions and map editor are included. Can someone please confirm this?
- I noticed that some of the text in the screenshots is red where it used to be white (in the status bar). Have any other changes been made to the game?
- Do the film clips work (they don't on my version)?
- Has anyone had any success playing multiplayer? With my version it's a bit hit and miss whether or not it works.

Thanks,
Dan
To answer your questions:

- Anno 1602 has only one expansion which is included in the GOG version. The map editor being part of the expansion is included as well.
- The text is white for me as it is supposed to be (using Win10 x64 and a Nvidia graphic card).
- The films do work (using Win10 x64 and a Nvidia graphic card).
- I haven't tried multiplayer but it uses the old DirectPlay standard. WIn10 automatically installed an additional DirectPlay package when I selected muliplayer for the first time. But it seems to be limited to LAN only as long as you don't use third party software to emulate a LAN over the Internet. I can remember that I have been using a software called Hamachi for this purpose back in the days of WinXP.

Thank you for the detailed reply! That's really helpful.
Anno 1602 actually had two expansions, but it seems one of them was only released in Germany. The second one was called "In the name of the King". Just google for "anno 1602 in the name of the king" and you will find information about it. The German wiki also lists both expansions.

I wonder if we will ever get the second expansion here?

Could you elaborate this? Which scenarios are missing?
