I know that Anno 2070 isn't on GOG (yet) but I'm kinda lost and maybe someone here has an answer. Any posts about this I found on other forums were utterly useless and GOGers are a lot more savvy and helpful in my experience. :)

So, I bought Deep Ocean on Uplay but as far as I can tell it was not activated automatically via purchase. There's a message about the DLC's release in the main menu and I *think* I can't see any of the DLC's extra content anywhere in the game.

I tried entering the serial that's displayed on Uplay but all that does is display a message that says that all related content is already active (I'm not sure if that serial even is for the base game or the DLC).

So I basically have these two questions:

1. How does the Deep Ocean DLC's activation work on Uplay?
2. How can I easily tell if the DLC is active?

Thank you!

Update:
Okay, I've established two things:

1. According to Ubisoft's FAQ the serial you can display in the Uplay client is indeed for the DLC and you should be able to activate it by entering it in one of those rewards windows in the main menu. That should make the game close, update and restart with the DLC active. Which it simply doesn't.
2. If the DLC were active I should apparently be seeing "Miracle in Danger" on the Missions screen. I don't so apparently the DLC indeed isn't active.

I tried an offline patcher provided by some random user online but that one refuses to do anything, apparently because the game already has the correct version. No idea why the game refuses to give me the Deep Ocean content. FML.

Okay, I said "screw it" and, since the sale where I bought the DLC is still ongoing, I just bought the Anno 2070 Complete Edition. Again, after installing and launching the game it was just the base game but this time the serial from the game's page on Uplay actually did work and unlocked all the DLC content straight away, no update required.

So I guess the problem wasn't with installing the game or anything but that the serial I got for the DLC itself was for whatever reason invalid. I had interpreted the message as "all content tied to this code is already active" but apparently it actually meant that all activations for the serial have already been used up. God knows what went wrong there.

So whatever you do, if you want to get the DLC better just buy the Complete Edition even if you already own the base game.

Screw Ubisoft.
Sorry for being a tad late but I had the same issue and managed to solve it:

• Choose your account name in the top right hand corner of the application. (Ubisoft Connect)
• From the menu, select Account Information.
• Inside your Account Information page, pick My Games. (On the left side)
Here you can see a list of the games you own on your account.
• Find the game that you need and then select Show Key.
You can easily copy and paste the key using the buttons displayed.

Here I found my key for Deep Ocean key, copyed it and could paste it in the activation window inside the game.

Hope this helps someone else :)

Yeah no, you did not have the same issue. What you're describing is how it should work but simply didn't in my case - until I bought the Complete Edition, that is.

As I said, it seems that when I bought Deep Ocean separately I received an invalid key. When I bought the Complete Edition I got a working key.
