ANNO 1602 (forgot to mention it the first time)

Anybody know how to reliably transfer save-files between different machines? Since GOG does not offer cloud saves for this game, I would like to manually transfer the files to a different computer in order to continue playing there. It kinda worked by copying the files from the "SAVEGAME"-folder, but under "Scenarios", previously unlocked missions won't appear now. I also tried copying HSS files from the "Szenes" folder but to no avail... Do I really have to play through all missions again in order to "sync" different PCs??

Pcgamingwiki is your friend for such problems if you don't know which saves you need.
But yes it's the game.dat is the file that stores which scenarios you unlocked.
Saves are only the save states.
So if you still have access to it try copying game.dat from the main game folder.
