Hello.
Bought the Anno Series during the Fall Sale and decided to install and start playing Anno 1701.

However as soon as I started the game I encountered a pretty annoying problem. My usual setup is having two screens, whereas I only have the game open on 1 and "unrelated" items on the other.

The problem I encountered in this game, is that the mouse pointer leaves the screen and enters the other window. This makes scrolling to the right pretty annoying as I cannot just throw the mouse at the edge, but rather have to align it with the border on the right side. Clicking when it is outside the game window also minimizes the game, disrupting my gameplay.

So my question is this: Is there any way to make it "windowed fullscreen" or just plain full screen? Being able to scroll to all four sides is a pretty given in a game like Anno.. Searched around for a solution, but I only found threads detailing "how to enable windowed mode"..

Hi.
There might be several tools to fix the problem, but what I use is a tool called "Swap Screen".
http://dualmonitortool.sourceforge.net/swapscreen.html

With this you can setup a hotkey that enables you to lock the mouse cursor to one screen so that it won't wander off to another.
Just read the explanation about "cursor tab" and there are several nice options there.
Hope this helps.

Will check it out thanks. Looked at something similiar, but had hoped that it was possible for that game in particular..
