Greetings all! I was super excited to see Anno 1602 on GOG, because I thought, "Wow, now I can finally play it multiplayer with my buddy!" Awhile back we tried playing it together from an ISO I made of the old disk copy I had (since no digital option existed that I could see), but when we tried playing it, I would randomly crash, ending the game (I was host) or he would randomly crash, some 10 minutes into the game.

Now I was excited because surely the GOG version would lack that nefarious issue! Well, sadly, it doesn't :(

I am still excited about it, but I'd love to see GOG try to dive into and figure out what issue might be going on here... Any place I might find crash logs or something that could help? It's been ages since I played this game so I am not sure if it does.

Cheers!

IDK, try setting homegroup on both PCs to same values, both in Windows and in Anno?
