Hello, I'm on Windows 8.1 (64bit) and Anno 1602 keeps losing focus and gets minimized. If I maximize the game, I see the screen for like 2 seconds aswell as hearing the menu music but then it gets minimized again within seconds.
Do you have any advise? Anyone experiencing the same problem?

That sounds like one of your other tasks is staying in the foreground, hence forcing Anno to be minimized.
Which tasks are you running when playing Anno?
Another possibility, maybe, dual screen?
Antivirus, maybe? (if you want to test this one, just disconnect from network and disable your antivirus)

I am running the same version (win) and don't remember having had this problem. No, can't test right away, haven't got it installed in the moment ;)

Thanks! That was the problem. My bad. It would never have occured to me 'cause this task has never caused any problems with other games in the past. Thank you!
