When trying to start Anno 1602, on Windows 10 Pro, through GOG Galaxy, nothing happens. The process (1602.exe) starts, then ends after a few seconds.
When trying to launch it directly from the installation directory, it gives a following error message:
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022). Click OK to close the application"
What I already did:
Verified the game files.
Installed the June 2010 DirectX runtime package.
Rebooted.
Tried running it in compatibility mode for every OS available there.
Tried running it without compatibility mode.
Tried running it with AV and Firewall disabled.
Tried running it with Windows booted to safe mode.
---
Solved it!

I quote:
"Here is a fix what worked for me:
1. Open Control Panel
2. Open Programs and Features
3. Choose "Turn Windows Features on or off"
4. Check Legacy Components and DirectPlay"
