I have bought Anno 1404 History Edition (64bit without memory error) at UBI Store.

But I want Anno without DRM from GOG, too.

What is the difference between UBI Store Anno 1404 History Edition and GOG Anno 1404 Gold Edition?

Does GOG Version has got memory error patch, too? Is GOG Version 32bit or 64bit?
Does GOG Version will be playable with IAAM inofficial Mod?

Which IAAM Mod do I have to install with GOG Version?

I have no idea but it keeps on crashing and it is very fortunate that it saves automatically every 15mins,
sometimes it will crash even before that

1) content of history and gold are the same but history seems better

2) I have applied unofficial patch, 4gb patch, the game continued to crash
i put the game on low and disconnected from gog, no crash there, i could play for 4 hours

I reinstalled every nvidia feature, then i reloaded in ultra high, the gpu was used at 40%. the ram was at about 1.1go, cpu was 70%, with fans to cool down. It crashed after 3 hours, computer isn't so hot, gpu 50°

the game is 32bit. i can not even play it everytime i start a game it crashes to desktop. only the menu works

lower the graphics to minimum, launch the game in windowed mode, try to glance at the task manager to see what's being used.

are you on windows 10 or 11 ? do you have a dedicated graphic card or integrated ?

does it crash on the loading screen, does the bar goes 30%, 90% ? did you try scenario or single game ?
did you lauch anno.exe or addon.exe ?

there are patch that exist but it didn't seem to have any impact on the game (mostly text related stuff)
