Well, it's actually the Steam version, but I have no luck there so far, so I guess I might ask about it here also, since I read that they are essentially the same version.

The thing is, I had no problem launching it in the past, but yesterday when I tried to launch it, it prompted something about "can't locate xxxx on mss32.dll" twice, and then "command 0x00000000 refers to memory address 0x00000000 , which can not be 'read'". If I try to launch via "GCT Setup.exe", and change 3D Sound Options from "off" to "A3D", then the prompt about mss32.dll won't appear, but it still shows the memory address error. I've tried re-installation a couple of times to no avail.

I've found other having the same mss32.dll problem, but no one seems to have this memory address problem, so I have no idea what to do now. Maybe it's something on my computer that's accidentally changed, but I just can't figure out what it is.

Running it in Win98 compatible mode just fixes the problem. Stupid me.
