How to I get Boots off the moving platform in sluice gates area? (under the temple) I can move the platform
over to the right hand corner where the red thing is that Boots has to pick up, but I can't get him to move off
the platform. (tried space bar, esc, enter,nothing works. there is no cursor, so I have to ctrl/alt/del to close game.

You have to move the plaftform close enough, so he can walk off. You'll know when you got it right, since a text saying to press SPACEBAR will appear near the rest of the controls.
