Sometimes when I try to use Democratus' tractor beam ability on an item, the game does not register any mouse clicks when I try to talk down the council members. The problem is not that I am trying to tractor something which requires master level without having it. The issue seems to usually fix itself when you switch maps. I have seen some other people reporting this as well. I guess the only questions to ask at this point are, why does this bug occur and can anything be done to fix it?

thats strange, I'm playing the game now aswell and haven't notice anything like this, have you tried re-plugging your mouse from usb ?

I doubt it has anything to do with my mouse, since otherwise the game has no problem registering mouse input outside of this specific instance.

I've had problem with Rho using her Scanalyze skill... the game freezed but ALT-TABing to windows and back sometimes solved the problem, have u tried going to windows and back ?

there is also unofficial patch out there, not sure about the savedgame compatibility
