The guide over on Stratergywiki says you can get multiple Shadow Bracers from Moon Burger, however even though PAL says he found some they're not being added to my inventory, are you supposed to be able to get more or not?

I will admit having everyone untouchable would be kind of crazy, I mean 1 character=no game over as it is
