You just blew my mind. I never knew that, although I can remember that mental note at the start of my 100% run, only to forget it when I actually got around to gettting mystech.

gsm: Wasn't this one of those things that few people realize about the battle system because it wasn't communicated properly in-game?

As Wikipedia puts it:
"Casting status effect-MysTech on party members will cure them if afflicted by enemy status spells."

So when everybody is getting hit with status effects, cure with the same MysTech?

Waltorious: ****SPOILER ALERT*****

The trick is moving your characters. The orb-things will continue to respawn unless you move your characters forward into their spaces after you kill them. Once you move a character forward they're out of the fight, so keep that in mind.

****END SPOILERS*****
Except when I move into the position of a destroyed orb, tte boss just attack that person and he gets pushed away and then makes a new orb. No matter which orb I destroy and move into or with what character.

Guess its just a buggy mess thats impossible to complete for some saves.

Definately makes me wish I never bought the game and just watched the movie instead with all the bugs in the game.

That does sound like a bug. I never saw that one. Does it happen every time?

Sadly yes. Tried reloading from before the Final Detta fight, from the autosave before the final boss fight and always the same bug. I also literally tried every single orb with each of the different characters you can control, destroying the orbs wasnt difficulty, I could thankfully 2-3 shot them. After couple hours I had had enough.

I watched the ending (and how the final fight was supposed to go) online so its not THAT big of a deal, just ridiculous to have such a huge bug in the end among all the other issues the game had. The quest log broke down for me in the Detta's fortress as well. It stopped updating, just got the sound effect and notification that something was added, but there was nothing new, just the "be careful" message.

All in all the game would've been better without pretty much any of the combat and a lot less back and forth running. The plot, character interactions and jokes kept me going and that was mostly in the cutscenes, I guess the fanmade movie was made by piecing them together?

googoogjoob: So I just got to the end of the game, and suddenly there is an IMPOSSIBLE BOSS FIGHT.

25 pages of Google results later, I still have no idea how to beat him- I've only found vague hints.

Someone please help I love this game and want so badly to beat it. ;_;

After some trials, I figured out the tactic on my first try, but ended up dying when I used the Mystech shield on Rho, thinking it'd help her. If only I'd have used a complete heal, I wouldn't have died....

Regardless, my 2nd and 3rd attempt both experienced a bug whereby I moved the character onto the empty spot and the boss recasted the ball on top of my character, thus rendering my character unable to do anything and invsiible. The recasted ball continued to work, but it was inverted underneath the platform. Strangely, the game thought my character hadn't moved at all because it did allow me to attempt to move. Unfortunately, the character was unable to do anything. And because the game requires you to step onto all of the colored circles, this meant I couldn't finish the battle. I had to kill the game instance from Task Manager.

My fourth attempt worked fine. Had no trouble with the boss recasting the ball on top of a character.
