I tried running Anachronox but anox.exe stops when I try to run it (shows a grey screen for second before halting). I am running on windows XP with an ATI card(fully updated drivers, although that may be the problem). I have tried compatibility mode and even renaming the executable to quake3(which I encountered when searching for a solution).

Is anyone else able to run this game with an ATI card and XP?

Have you tried using the shortcut provided by the installer?

The shortcut does not work. Strangely, the game works perfectly straight from the installer with Windows 7(same ATI card and driver version) but not on my XP machine.

EDIT: Sorry if this doesn't help anyone but I uninstalled/reinstalled my ATI driver and it works.
