Just wanted to drop my two cents in here. My cd copy of Anachronox got cracked years ago. This game was a top pick of mine to have GOG deliver. In one day I've gotten word over the internet that there is going to be a redone HD Baldurs Gate, Diablo 3 release date and Anachronox on GOG. Downloading Anachronox now. Thanks GOG. You guys rock.

Thank you, GOG! I've been dying to play this game ever since I saw Anachronox: The Movie years ago. (*wikipedia* Holy cow, it's been a decade now?!) I once got to play it for about an hour and loved it, but for whatever reason, I never got around to buying an old/used copy. So again, thank you, GOG: Anachronox has finally found its way into my hands (if I stick it on a DVD) after all these years!

Probably not. That game designers get a cut of each sold game is very rare. They are paid on a fixed contract. And that is even before the game was ten years in licensing hell.

But he get's renewed recognition. Similar to when Futurama was so succesfull on DVDs that they started making new episodes. This will certainly help him in future endevours.

Yes, thanks heaps from me too. I haven't been able to run it since a new computer plus it's upgrade. I'll have to wait a couple of weeks before I can play it, but I'll be back here as soon as possble to grab a copy. Wow, now with Deus Ex, the Thief series, and Anachronox, you have made one happy customer.

Visited GoG once more because I felt like playing Lands of Lore again, then I got smacked in the face with an Anachronox banner. I totally loved this game! Pirated it during my teenage years and never finished it. Time to set both of those errors straight :)
