I got notified that Amnesia 1 updated today... But nothing in the logs.. What updated?????

I did a quick comparison between 1.41 and 1.41a and the main changes seem to be different credits and i think a Chinese localization was added. However it also broke the game - mouse input doesn't work (you can move the cursor around but you cannot look around). And for some reason when starting a new game you do not get the option to start in "Normal" or "Hard" mode (not sure which mode is now considered as default).

I informed "Frictional Team" on 01st Oct. 2020 about this problem and got the info today (12.10.) that
"this should be fixed now".
But we may need to wait a little while for the update to get available.
Currently the offline installer still has version 1.41a (40599).

# 16.10.2020 - situation still unclear:
As there is no Linux update after 4 days I am a little confused - especially when seeing:
Linux: 1.41a (40599)
Windows: 1.41a (41462)
macOS: 1.41 (24301)
All versions from current offline installer - i.e. GOG stable tree - 16.10.2020.
So there is no "the current GOG version" for Amnesia ... which may be OK but needs further info.
Thus I asked the developers which versions are fixed and if fixes for all platforms are available for GOG.
As the problem was reported the same time the current Linux version was provided by GOG this can not be fixed ... and the versions are so different that only developers can state which one had been fixed.
But at least the current Windows version seems to have the fix due to updated after the mail and was stated to be fixed in this forum, too.
Will provide any information when it gets available ... and really curious about the answer!

But the current Amnesia version on GOG is 1.41a (41462) and has the mouse fixed.
The next update will fix the Hard Mode.
...
After one week "this should be fixed now" still no update here. This is sad. Something is strange with Frictional Games and/or GOG.
