Has anybody had problems with the install?
I have tried the GOG downloader [for 6hrs} and at the end i get completed with a solid green bar across but no prompt for install or setup. i installed both Syberias with no problem.
i also tried downloading it direct and got files corrupted try again but it closes immediately so I can't skip that part and go directly to install.
It is frustrating after 12 hrs I still can't play the game.

Have you tried this? Check the location where the GOG downloader was supposed to put your downloaded file (if you don't know where that is, look under "Options" in GOG downloader). Find the Amerzone file in the folder. Run the file. If you have Vista or Win7, you may have to run as administrator.

If you are not able to download the setup.exe you should contact GOG support. If you have downloaded the setup.exe but can't get it to install you can try the following.
It sounds like you are running Vista / Win 7? If not, none of the suggestions below are going to work on your system . . . =)
The GOG installer will occasionally not run if UAC is turned on. You should temporarily turn UAC off, install and turn it back on. Click the Start Orb, click Settings, click Control Panel, click User Accounts, click "Turn User Account Control on or off" and uncheck the "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer" check box. See the attached image for more info, I believe you have to restart as well.. (Ignore the image questions)
As Luned said and after turning off UAC, locate the setup.exe for Amerzone. Right click the setup.exe and click "Run as an administrator" in the resulting dialog. If you just double click the setup.exe, Vista / Win 7 can block some disk writes which can cause a partial install. After installing, right click the game shortcut, click Properties, click the Compatibility tab, check "Run this program as an administrator". Not doing this step can also cause a game to run poorly. I usually uncheck the "Run this program in compatibility mode for" to begin with and only use the compatibility modes if it fails to run smoothly. See attached image.

I have not bought a game in awhile because I can't get some of the games I have bought to run. Amerzone installing is just confusing. It has four parts to install . I have tried installing the gogloader but that doesn't help. I read the community section but you use abbreviations such as UAV which is not understandable to me. I have tried to use on an XP but that doesn't work either.I have wanted to download other games but if they are not going to run, what's the sense,
