Hi, I just purchased this game since it was on sale this weekend, and the game simply won't start at all.
I am on a 2017 iMac 27', OSX 10.13.6.

Same problem here, on 10.12.6

I am pretty sure you need to run this game on 10.14+. I have ran into the same issue and looking at the crash logs, I got this error,

Application Specific Information:
abort() called
application requires at least OS X version 10.14.0 (10.14), but is being run on 10.13.6 ( 10.13.6/17G65), and so is exiting
