I have a Toshiba Satellite Laptop with Win 10 OS & Win 10 keyboard. How do I pause the game? I've read discussions where the game can be paused, but I have yet to find the keyboard key, or combinations of keys, for this to happen. How do I pause this game?

F12 will open the menu and pause the game.

Thank you for helping me. I tried the F12 key on my keyboard and it turns on the "Airplane Mode" to my computer.

So I opened the menu from the game and it does pause the game (and the message line in the menu does state F12 will open the menu). But I wanted to issue orders while in the pause mode, and this can't be done while the game is paused.

I pulled out my Fight Back Manual from cdv and read on page 23 "Orders in pause mode." Here's what it says,

3.5 Orders in pause mode:

"You can issue commands in a single player game while the game is paused. To do this, press the KEY assigned to the PAUSE function to interrupt the game. You can now issue commands to your units. These will be carried out when you continue the game by pressing the pause key again."

The game manual doesn't say which key to press. Do you have any idea which key I press to interrupt the game so I can issue commands to my units?

I think you need to press the "fn" button while you hit the F12 button in order for your computer to know that you want F12 and not the smart function.

In case your keyboard has a "Pause Break" button you can use this one as well to pause the game. However, not all Laptop keyboards have one of them.

Thank you very much Xerafex! That did the trick. Pressing the FN button and the PGDN/pause key paused the game, allowing me to issue orders to my units while the game is paused.
