When can we expect anything for the GOG release, the other versions seem to have some system for finding/downloading mods in game, and it's brutal to try and fish anything of interest out of the internet without it as most everything is chinese and scattered.

Agreed. Though I have the game on Steam. Here's hoping someone someday finishes the english translation or a modder makes a mod that completes it.
