Is this really made with RPGMaker like is said in one of the comments. and is exactly like the Zelda titles or an advanced version? The music in the video is better than midi (8-bit) quality for example.

Reminds me a little of The Stanley Parable?

//edit: OK, the engine is the original rpgmaker I think. The music is Zelda-like from the quality. Maybe on purpose to make it more retro?
So far it is weird, since you play different roles etc. Like you build up to your own story making decisions for all characters and not just yourself?

//edit: this is only for the intro, you choose your own character in the first scene. After that you wake up, one needs to eat, drink, sleep etc. in the game.
