Hey folks, I don't know if you're actually planning to make any more changes to the game beyond what you've already done, but if you are, I think all of us would appreciate a correction to how the game handles its aiming reticles. Specifically, the way the game is coded, the size of the crosshair gets larger as the game's resolution increases, without the accuracy of the weapons changing (as far as I know). At 1440p and 4K, they are absolutely ridiculously sized, in a way that goes well beyond the intended design. If there's some way you could decouple the reticle scaling from resolution scaling, I think that would significantly improve the player experience by actually letting us know what our chance to hit really is. If you compare the PC version to the console versions, I think the console target resolution of 720p gives the most true-to-intent reticle scale.

Hi Dwaling!

Yes, you are right. I also think that would be a really great idea to decouple the size of the reticle from resolution scaling. I fully support your idea. In the meantime you could apply a mod to the game. The mod reduces the size of the reticle significantly. But it is also a "cheat" and breaks the core gameplay mechanics that Obsidian crafted because the accuracy of the weapons also increases. I use this mod only with the hardest difficulty and I play with a controller to alleviate to some degree my advantages with this mod in regards to shooting. But overall this mod is not a definitive solution because it makes the game a little bit to easy I think.

The mod:

You can also use this mod:

So this makes Thorton's movements appear more natural and less twitchy.

I hope that helps you in some way! And I hope your idea is implemented in a future patch.
