I tried it with a Dualsense Edge and it didn't work. However, after adding the game to Steam as a non-steam app, and then launching it there, it worked fine.

it did detect and allowed me to enable my xbox 360 controller just fine.

By default controllers are turned off in the settings. you need to enable them in game and the controller will work.

After enabled is DualSense fully supported native just like a modern game? Maybe they should turn it on by default as many will want to play with a controller.
