hello,I'm considering purchasing this game, but I would like to know something first-is this the original 640*480 only version,or the enhanced one that supports up to 1280*1024?

thank you.

Yes, it is possible. Once you open the game, a loader will pop up for you to choose the resolution. There are several resolutions available :)

Yep resolutions for me ranged from 640x480 through to 1680x1050 (maximum of my monitor). Strangely though it would only work properly for me when enabling "High Quality" on the lowest resolution available 640x480. Other resolutions with "High Quality resulted in game graphics looking ok but menus and text were invisible or garbled.

Works on all other resolutions for me with "High Quality" unticked. I'm running a ATI Radeon HD 3400 so not the newest but neither is the game. "High Quality" apparently relates to the shadow quality in game. The game looks ok never the less.

I did manage to get up to 1280x1024 with High Quality by changing my graphics card settings and under - 3D Settings - Open GL Settings - enabled "Force 24-bit Z-buffer depth". So if you are trying to get high quality shadows and get graphics issues like menus not appearing try tinkering with Open GL settings in your graphics card.
