Shouldn't it be possible to "install" an older OpenGL version just like older Dx versions are installed for older games?
Or is it that the older OpenGL version is incompatible with Win 8 and forward?
Usually if an old game comes without the correct Dx version, you'll download it from somewere and put the .dll in the game directory or in the System directory or something.
TheStockzieh: Encountered same bug as described above in Windows 10 (seems to be common from Windows 8 to 10). I was able to make it work by running it inside a virtual XP machine. You can get an XP VM directly from Microsoft (there are several tutorials how to make the Windows 7 XP Mode VM run in Virtual Box, just search). Inside the VM it works like a charm so far.
Thanks, will try running XP in a vm
