Edit \path\to\AvP Classic\goggame-1207665883.info

Change exe to lnk.
"path" : "AvP_Classic.lnk",

Create link from AvP_Classic.exe
Right Click - Create Shortcut
Rename to AvP_Classic (if hidden will not show .lnk)

Edit Properties, add to Target "-w"
"Drive:\path\to\AvP Classic\AvP_Classic.exe" -w

Restart Galaxy
Clever girl. I actually tried fiddling with the info file, but Galaxy kept detecting the changes and restoring it. Apparently, though, it only checks the size, not its hash - which is why just changing the file extension from exe to lnk works.

Of course, it's all a bit moot, since the game works perfectly fine without the launcher, multiplayer included ;)
Is there a way to get windowed mode to run in a window larger than 640x480? When I use the "-w" command it runs in a window, but it ignores the game's larger resolution and the window is too small as a result.

Only in the main menu. Once the level loads, the window expands.

Wow, I didn't know that! Thanks for the info!
SUGGESTION:

Can GOG change this so that the game runs in windows determined by the resolution setting? Right now, not matter what resolution I pick, my resolution sets to the same low one in full-screen mode. Alt-Enter does not pop me out into a windowed mode. Enabling a windowed mode, like other games have, would be appreciated.

(The game was offered for the sake of feedback, so this is my feedback, rather than a plea for help.)

Oh wow! I just realized that I TOTALLY misunderstood these two posts!

I'll tinker with the opening instructions. Still, GOG, take it as a suggestion to implement a windowed mode that's more easily accessible. Alt+Enter usually does it for other applications.
