Under the Predator Controls I found a bindable key for a grappling hook. How do I use this thing? I can't get anything to happen. Is the grappling hook a single player only thing?

The Grappling Hook is for single player only. There isn't even an ingame model for it (or at least there wasn't back in the day), so if someone uses a hack/mod to enable it in MP other players will just see the predator zip around without a line.

There is a grapling hook in the game. Mostly a single player item but when i played this game about 10yrs ago at its peak there were mods/hacks that would allow its use in mulitplayer.

Certain custom maps allow the use of the grappling hook and jetpack. I was flying around with the grappling hook in JungleXL (Twilight) and got accused of noclipping. :P

Back in the day I remember being able to enable it with a simple option or something for multiplayer, but only the host could use it. Never used any mods/hacks, so had to be able to enable it some other way.
