Everyone is talking about a launcher but not telling me where to even get it. My mp fails to initialize and the launcher is the only fix BUT THERE IS NOBODY GIVING ME A LAUNCHER LINK, SO CAN I HAVE A LINK?!

Launch the game from the Start Menu. There's a GOG folder with AvP in it and 2 shortcuts. One has - Galaxy Client added to the end. Start the game using this shortcut. This initialises the launcher, updates the game and allows you to play MP right now.
