the gameplay was very fast. There was only one slight lag. Less, than a second. One Player suddenly disappeared.
20 Minute Multiplayer...
But the rest of the time... terrific!

Connecting to the server was very fast. Maybe 5 seconds, maybe shorter.
The host restarted the new games instantly, without any flaws.

I'm not that familiar with this game, but in my opinion it worked very well!

The GOG Launcher started without any problems. The update took about a minute.
The Game started without any hassle in normal speed.

Nothing to complain about.

I got to play a few Coop matches last night and I love it. I never got to play AvP in multiplayer back in the day so trying it out for the first time was a great feeling.

The speed, as many suggested, can be a bit difficult to get used to, but I'm no stranger to fast-fast-paced twitch shooting. Even so, I'll be looking forward to trying MP with de speed setting lowered from 100%.

I'm also looking forward to playing SP (never got to finish), after the beta. Right now, the game is worth it for the large online community (which is probably larger than AvP 2010 and A:CM's current ones put together).



Anyone know if this game supported mods or custom-made maps?

Dont recall any mods being supported by the game except the downloadable hack which i hope will not work on GOG. The maps should work since this is based off the original release and you should be able to find many of them. Dont forget this is an old game so if you plan on adding maps you will have to do this the old fashioned way and place them in the proper folder.
