You think there would be a million wikis about this or something in the manuals but through playing AvP 1 and 2 I've never been able to pin down exactly what each of the vision modes for the Predator are. One thing that strikes me is the the games seem to have more than the movies. :P

1st: Obviously regular.

2nd: Blue; used for smart targeting with the shoulder cannon.

3rd: Red; I have NO clue! :P

4th: Huh? I think they just threw this one in to screw with people who dropped acid before playing the game.

Any help would be appreciated. :D

Aside from the Predator's regular vision, each vision is designed to target different species.

Thermal (blue) is for targeting Humans.

Electrical (red) is for targeting Aliens (and turrets).

Pred-Tech (green) is for targeting other Predators.

The vision colors also match the Alien's pheromone vision which highlights each species with the same colors.
