The official dosbox version / GOG release is outdated, worthless, and unplayable.
The included version does not scale the graphics to full screen (tiny box), nor does it offer decent upscaling.

Scaling works to full screen, and offers upscaling options like xbrz.
GOG needs to get on the ball with these dos games, as all of the current dosbox releases are garbage. They don't even install intelligently, as each game has it's own unnecessary dosbox version, while the recommended install method is to have ONE dosbox install for ALL dos games. This makes using GOG for DOS a pain, since you have to manually fix every single dos game on their store. There is no point in using their launcher either, since it is pretty useless in comparison to every other dosbox frontend out there. The sad thing is these fixes are all open source, and GOG could easily add a better dosbox build and frontend, but they don't.
Also, GOG galaxy is extremely annoying with it's forced shortcut install in the start menu that just adds clutter. The best way to handle this insanity is to install the game, copy the files into an alternative folder with a frontend and updated dosbox, then uninstall the game. This is extremely annoying and a waste of everyone's time when GOG could just do this themselves and save us the hassle.
