I know that the bonus content is just that - a bonus, but still there should be some sort of quality control before releasing it. I'm still wondering how it could happen with the Praetorians soundtrack that all files names were cut off after 13 letters and apparently no one ever noticed... (already reported to the GOG team)

Anyway, back to the "The Nations" soundtrack...

First of all, why isn't it a digital version of the ORIGINAL soundtrack, which saw a proper commercial release on CD in 2001:

?

Instead, what we get seems to be ripped straight from the game and converted to mp3. The problem with this, it was done badly. There are many mp3 frame errors, clicks at the beginning and/or end of many tracks, some tracks end abruptly without fading or transition to the next track, and even the ID3 tags are completely useless, as the title of all tracks is just "Track".

Please GOG, fix this. It shouldn't be that hard to provide a proper digital version of the original soundtrack, should it?
I am in strong agreement. I wouldn't have got Alien Nations from GOG (having lost my CD copy) if I knew the soundtrack was corrupted.
