Hi, I've just started playing The Nations Gold and I'm enjoying it so far. The only problem I'm having is that things seem to move so slowly. In other words, it seems like it takes forever to reach mission goals with both production and military missions. I'm wondering if this is just how the game is set up, or if I'm just not doing things in the most efficient manner : ) I played the first Pimmon military mission where you have to fight the bug guys, and I finally cheated to get resources because I couldn't seem to produce enough ANYTHING to support more than one warrior/knight/warlord etc.
Does anyone have tips for the best "strategies," ie. build orders or production and trading methods? Maybe even a site that has things like that, I haven't found much but of course I'll keep searching!
I know this is a really light game, so I feel a little silly talking about it as if it were a "real" strategy game like Starcraft or something. I also wouldn't be surprised if it was something I'm doing incorrectly : )

A bit late, but, there's this thing you can do with Miracles if you get to 25 gold: offer 12 gold pieces, 1 by 1, to the gods, and call the Double the gold miracle. If you have 25 initially, spend 12, leaves 13, double makes it 26, and now you repeat.
If you get to the point of having 25 gold (trade wood and stone, it's fairly easy early, train 3 or 4 lumberjacks / stonemasons and wait to trade 100 wood / stone, at that point you make 200 gold with miracles and can trade for whatever you need.

P.S. some missions will prevent you from trading key resources, but it's still worth duping since you can get every other item (not having to care about building market products buildings is huge).
