It's sadly but I have a problem with Alien Nations
The game crashes after my victory on mission at pimmon's campaign. I've uploaded savegame to rapidshare, so you can test this bug on your computer :) http://rapidshare.com/files/257926831/SAVEGAME.098.html
In this savegame you need to wait a few second and you'll get a message about victory. Just click OK and game will crash :)
I've tried to reinstall my game but bug is still here :)
But if "Bad ending?" is the last mission in campaign and there is no profit for ending pimmons campaign, I won't fill my head with this crashing and will play another campaign :)

Did you ever solve this? I have exactly the same problem - when I win Mission 10 ("Bad Ending?" - the one where you have to eliminate several bases of Sajkhi on a large map), it crashes to desktop. :-(

Sorry 'bout necro-ing this, but I didn't see a solution in any newer thread . . .

No, I didn't solve this - i just replayed this scenario. It's the last mission in pimmon's campaign so you just can start it from scratch and type "WINNER" to get final video.

I also sent a message to support with this problem about year ago, here is the answer:

I apologize for not being able to reply sooner. We have playtested the game from start to finish and haven't encountered this problem - which is especially weird considering the game does crash when I load the save game you sent me...

Have you tried playing the mission again from scratch? When I load your mission and use the "WINNER" cheat the game crashes. But when I start it from scratch and use the cheat, I get to see the Pimmons' ending video.

The mission is the last one, so if you don't want to play it again, the ending videos are located in the game's DATA subfolder.

Cool, thanks!

Odd that we both encountered the same thing, and strangely the cheat code still works in the game that crashes, less than a second from the end. Very odd, I wonder what causes the crash.
