It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I've just bought and installed Alien Nations, but can't launch it.
Every time I try I get 0xc0000022 error. I tried setting compatibility mode and full access for files.
Any advices?
Hey buddy!

If you are using Windows 10, try enabling Direct Play.

The way you do it:

Click on the Windows Button and search for "Windows Features" - Click on Activate or deactivate Windows Features.

There should be a folder named "Legacy components". Expand it and enable Direct Play.

This should fix the error. I hope I could help!

This trick with "Direct Play" worked for me. Just tried it a few seconds ago!

Thank you very much...

This thread should be made a sticky thread...
thanks so much RyukenX, it was doing my head in as AN had been working fine on my Win10 before, but after the 1703 update it was broken.

this has also got Anno 1602 and Alpha Centauri working again so heavens knows how many other GOG games have been affected by the latest big Win10 update.

thank you again
