Hi all,

I have been successfully running many games (most of which came from here) in a Windows 7 VM, so when I saw this one I decided to take a chance. Specifically, my virtualized system (VMWare) is as follows:

- Windows 7 SP1 (64 bit)
- Intel i5-7500 Dual Core at 3.40GHz
- 8 GB RAM
- DirectX 11 (the install program says that it is installing DirectX 9.0c...?!?)
- VMWare Workstation V16.2.3

The installation went fine with no complaints, but when I try to launch it, it simply goes to a blank screen, and finally exits with "We ran into a problem, do you want to search the web for a solution?" Turns out that the behavior is the exact same as with "Metro: Last Light Reduex," but at least there the next launch gives you the option of going into "Safe Mode," wherein it works. With AI, it doesn't even do that. Any suggestions?

EDIT: Further experimentation shows that it crashes on start with the message "AI.exe has stopped working." To my eyes, my VM meets all of the minimum requirements, and then some, so I am thinking that it is a configuration issue somewhere... I cannot be the only one who is trying to run this in a VM on a Linux backbone... Most everything else works flawlessly (I considered WINE, but that is too big a security risk for my taste). Please Help!
