Has anyone experienced the problem that the game just won't start?
The screen turns black, the mouse cursor turns into the wait symbol and after 1-2 minutes the system tells me that the application stopped working.
Windows' event log says "code 1002", version "0.0.0.0" (alanwake.exe does not have version info) of this application can't run under windows.
I'm using Windows 10 creator's update, made sure to reinstall graphic drivers (newest NVidia for GTX1070) and directx before posting here, reinstalled the game using gog galaxy.
Update: For testing I also tried the Steam and Humble Bundle versions on the same computer system.
Both run without problems and don't require Admin rights to run.
Just the GoG-Version is messed up. What's wrong with this one?
