Hi everyone.

I used to play Alan Wake's American Nightmare normally before patch 1.0.2. But since I installed this patch the game runs ultra very slowly (about 1 FPS). Furthermore when I quit the game my graphic pilots just break down and I have a black screen for a moment.

My specs are:
Intel Core i7 2720QM
nVidia Geforce GTX 560M 3GB
6 GB Ram

My graphic drivers are up to date: 301.42

BTW is there any mean to restore the game state before patch, without having to uninstall/reinstall it ?

OK well, I randomly re-launched the game and now it works properly again. Problem solved I guess.

I had the issue of the game not working at all with the patch but a fresh install and the game runs fine now (win7 64-bit quad core). Not really a solve (hope your copy is still working) but it's related so I figured it was worth a post.
